There are a range of workshops designed for both beginners and
those with experience who wish to broaden their skills or consolidate
concepts and techniques. The workshops are open to all members
of public.

Short Art Courses and Weekend Workshops
The weekend workshops and short courses provide a thorough and concentrated experience in a range of art forms. The short courses are of nine weeks duration for 3 hours per week. They are offered during both the day and evening.
Summer and Winter Schools
The Winter and Summer School workshops are of varying duration over a nine day period and concentrate on a diverse range of media areas. Tutors are active and respected artists in the fields in which they teach. Their experience has been gained through study and studio practice in Australia and overseas.The Institute has a supportive and friendly atmosphere with small classes encouraging individual expression. Workshops are held at the BIA studios located at Windsor, seven minutes drive north of the city. There is ample car parking and regular public transport by bus or train.
